Meet the team

Founded in Brooklyn in 2002, Touch has 18+ years of experience as an award winning design studio specializing in interior spaces and the objects which occupy them. With projects ranging in store design, visual merchandising, residential, office interiors, furniture, lighting, product and special events. environmental, industrial and graphic design experiences for spaces. Touch designs captivating environments for workplaces, retail environments, hospitality, and exhibits. From entire spaces, to signage and wayfinding, we not only creates spaces but helps visitors navigate them.

Our Creative team is made up of Industrial Designers, Interior Designers, Graphic Designers, and Architects, committed to creating uniquely branded environments & experiences that both highlight and celebrate a brand’s core equities. Touch is based in Philadelphia.

Our Core TEAM

Michael Marra

Co-founder & Principal Creative

Michael originally co-founded Touch Design Studio, Inc. as an industrial design firm in 2001, with friend and fellow Pratt Alumni Peter Valois. The pair received early recognition as members of Surface magazine’s 2002 T.A.G. Team, an annual showcase of top ten emerging American talents. In 2009 Touch expanded focus to include environmental design; workplace interiors, retail, and commercial space. Some of Touch's clients include Victoria Secret, Audible, DKNY, Johnson & Johnson, and Estee Lauder. With over 18 years experience in design; Michael has received international recognition and participated in numerous shows in the US and around In 2018 Michael co-founded a second award winning agency focused in cannabis space, Budder Creative.. Michael's work has been featured in numerous Design Publications including Architectural Digest, Dwell, GQ, Details, New York Magazine, Surface, W magazine, etc.
